About:Nanning - Hanoi Trains: T8701/ T8702

Buying tickets in-person

How many days in advance can tickets be bought for the Nanning-Hanoi train? How likely are tickets to sell out, could I buy them on the day in the summer?

The tickets are only available at Nanning Railway Station and you can purchase on-site at most 10 days in advance . Normally there are some tickets available on the departure day, but it depends.

do you know if that's 10 days, or 10 working days?

I called the national 12306 phone number, suggested a date I wanted to depart, and the staff member said the tickets went on sale 14 days before (10 weekdays)...
