im vietnamese, can i extend my visa while im in china

hi,im vietnamese, and i go PRC with 6 of my friends, we just get our entry permits for tourist and it's just valid for 2 weeks only while we planning to go for 3 weeks, we had booked, plan, hotel, train, everything, is it possible that i can extend my L type after i arrive 1 week after. and where should i go apply, at that time, i should be in shanghai. and how long does it take to from the time i apply and get the extension, cos i just stay in shanghai for 2 days only. thanks

Ashley, it's possible to extend your L type one week after you arrive. The process may take seven working days at most, so you should go to the local Exit and Entry Administration Office to extend it. I'm afraid you can't apply from Shanghai because the time is too short.

hi, can i ask them to post my passport to my next destination's hotel which is chengdu. i'll be there for a week, and can i use the receipt for extending pasaport that PRC gave me when thay took my passport to go on local fly or train?
