About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

I have 22 hours layover in Baiyun Airport and want to know if I can get off airport without Visa.

Am i allowed to get off the airport if I have 22 hours of layover. Can the airline hold luggage for me?

I arrive at 10PM on Sunday and would like to go to hotel for sleeping and come back the next day. Do I need visa to get off airport?

Yes, the airline will transfer your luggage, so you don't need to collect it (do have the lugagge check-through service at the starting point).

You don't need a visa, either, because you will be eligible for the 24h visa free transit. If you are going to get out of the airport, you can apply for a stay permit in the airport. Don't worry, you can easily get one.
