About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

I am a usa citizen visiting Guangzhou. my current visa just expired.

I wish to get a new visa. anyone know where I can get one in the city?

You cannot overstay in China if your visa had expired. You need to leave GZ as soon as possible.
After coming back to your country, you can apply for the visa again.

I did not overstay. I have 90 days. My problem is I want to exit china for short holiday then return here but my entry expired sept 11

Sorry, I misunderstood that! Which country will you travel in? If there is a China embassy there, you can apply for a new visa from the embassy.
