About:China Tourist Visa

My son is visiting me in china from south africa, what format do I use for his invitation letter?

So I have to submit bank statements for him to attach?
Do I have to send anything else for him to attach to his application

Tessa, the invitation letter doesn't have to follow a fixed format. You can just include your personal information and your son's personal information as well as information about the planned visit in this letter. Generally speaking, the bank statement is not needed. You can also send him a photocopy of your passport and residence permit.
