About:China Visa on Arrival

Visiting remax asia expo in October 2015

Hi, I'm a Sri Lankan passport holder living in Dubai. I need to visit the exhibition in zhuhai next month. I was told I need invitation letter from China from foreign ministry and if I want to go to hong kong or Macau I need apply for them seperately directly through hongkong.

Can you plz let me know what the easy way I can participate in the exhibition in zhuhai and what visas should I need?

Jennie, it's right that you need an invitation letter from the authorized agencies of Foreign Affairs Ministry to attend the exhibition. My suggestion is to get it via a trade partner in China. If you don't know any, you can contact the hosting party for help. The Zhuhai VOA is not available for you I think.

In case that you want to visit Hong Kong and Macau, you should apply separate entry permits. The HK entry permit application can be sent to HK Immigration Department by post while the application for Macao should be submitted to the consulate in Dubai.

Thank you Alston for the reply. Yes I'm trying to obtain the letter, I'm afraid it might take more than 4 weeks
