About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Leaving the airport during a layover?

I have 12 hours between my London-Beijing and Beijing-Auckland flights. Am I able to leave the airport and explore the city? What do I need to do to be able to?

Yes, it's ok for you to tour around the downtown area with no visa. However, you need to apply for the stay permit at the airport first.
