About:Visa Policy of China

I am an Indian Passport holder and am currently in China with an F-Visa

but it's going to expire at the end of October and I cannot renew it here as they give maximum 15 months only as I live in Huzhou. But I want an extension for 2-3 months.

So I am planning to fly to Hong Kong to apply for a new F-type, however I am completely new to this and do it all on my own, so I don't know what to expect.

Does anybody know where I should go to apply for it? And is it even possible to do so for my country? and how long it takes? Please help, Thank you!
