About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

From Hong Kong to Guangzhou by train

As i understood the 72 visa-free transit will not be applicable if i enter China by train. Then i need to apply for a visa from my county. My question is:
If i come from Hong Kong to China by train, is there any immigration check point?
Otherwise my passport will not be stamped and that can occur problem when i leave china.
My plan is:
From Dubai to Hong Kong (by air) for one day. Then from Hong Kong to Guangzhou (by train) for 72 hours.
Then from Guangzhou to Dubai (by air)

Ahmed, I have to say that Hong Kong is considered as not part of China when it comes to the immigration affairs, so if you enter from HK to Guangzhou by train, you cannot avail yourself of the 72-hour free transit policy. That means, to use this policy, you should go from HK to Guangzhou and then to Dubai all by air.

Yes, of course. The immigration check point is in Guangdong East Railway Station.

In a number of ways Hong Kong is treated as a separate country. You will have to go through Immigration at the border to enter China.
