what if i don't make my train because of delayed flight

I am flying into Shanghai on 20 September and plan to take the bullet from that station to Hangzhou. My question is this.1 how long to transfer from flight arrivals to railway station2 if my flight is delayed will my ticket be transferable to a later one.

If you go for Shanghai Hongqiao, it usually needs at least 2 hours by metro from airport. You also need time to check out from airport and also time for ticket collection etc. So you may need at least 4 hours between them. If you miss it, you can still try to change to a later one if the seats are still available.
