beijing to tianjing to datong back to beijing

I need some advise of my planning to visit these places :-1) Arrived in Beijing International Airport at about mid afternoon, take shuttle bus from airport to Beijing south Railway ( 1hr plus) and travel to TJ and check in a budget hotel near to the Railway station.Stay for 3 days (Enough?) and take a night train to Datong and stay for 3 days budget hotel near to the Railway station.  Take a night train to beijing. Stay for a few days and fly back.1)Is 10 days enough?(excluding the arrival and departure date).2) Any recommendation of budget hotel in TJ which is easy access to the tourist spot? 3)Any recommendation of budget hotel in Datong and is it much convenient to  join local tour for famous tourist spot?(Hanging temple etc). 4)Will there be any problem of getting the train tickets in November? Need advance Booking?5)Lastly, any recommendation of hotel in Beijing which of mid range and near to metro line to access all the famous spot.

1. Yes, three days are enough for you to tour around TJ. So don't worry. 2. According to your travel plan, 10 days are enough for your sightseeing. 3. In TJ, you can stay at Jinjiang Inn (Railway Station Branch). The price is around CNY 200 per night. It provides comfortable living environment and kind service. And the surrounding transportation is quite convenient. It's located at 17 Jinbu Road. 4. In Datong, Jinhekailong Grand Hotel is a good choice for you. The price is about CNY 150 per night. The address is Zhandong Street. 5. Well, I think you don't need to book the ticket from Bejing to TJ in advance as there are many departures per day. But for the long-distance overnight rides, you'd better book them in advance even though it is not peak travel season, as there are only a few departures.
