About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

if I travel Hong Kong-Chengdu-Macao, can I apply for 72h free transit visa?

If my itinerary is Hong Kong-Chengdu-Hong Kong - Macao (the last by boat) is it still possible?
thank you

Alessio, your route is ok. However, there is a risk. The immigration might think that you intentionally make use of this policy to avoid applying Chinese entry permit. So it's likely that you might be refused to give 72 hours free transit.
