I have a 13 hr layover in Baiyun airport- is there a transit hotel in the airport for resting?

I am a US citizen, do I need a China entry visa to in this hotel for 13 hours in transit between international flights? USA-China-Cambodia and return.

Near the Terminal building, there is a Pullman Hotel for the transit passengers. You don’t need a visa, but you need to apply for a Transit permit before leaving the airport. Besides, you need to inform your airline of the permit application in advance.
