About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

American Citizen working in Taiwan.

Dear people, I currently teach in Taiwan. And I have have gone to China three times in the past 7 years. I am wondering if I don't work in Seoul, is it still possible for me to apply for a China Visa in Seoul? Thanks a lot.

Dart, I heard that if you apply from Seoul, you should have an ARC card which is valid for at least six months. But I remember a month ago, a guy from the US told me that he has managed to get a PRC entry permit from South Korea without the ARC card. I think you can contact the embassy there for further confirmation.

I also need to get a tourist type in Seoul and have worked/lived in China for 6 years on Z type. I hope we can get without having ARC cards. If you find out, please post your experiences.
