About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

is direct transit ok

Hi, Im from Mexico, Im traveling from hong kong to shanghai (same airport, different airlines) to mexico same day, direct transit is ok right? should i need to tell my airline before boarding in hong kong? tks

Yes, you can make use of the 24h direct transit policy. You don't need to tell the airline before boarding the plane.
