About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing stopover. Does this qualify for the 72 hour transit visa? Thanks

I depart beijing to London at 12.10 pm on December 11th. I'm booking a flight from Bangkok to Beijing which arrives at 7am on December 8th.

David, if we calculate the 72 hours from your scheduled arrival and departure time, your total stay is more than 72 hours. Some other passengers said that the 72 hours was counted from the moment you went through the procedure successfully. Even it was, your total transit is more than 72 hours. So I am afraid that you are disqualified.

Anyway, you might make a call at 0086-10-56095400 to confirm with the inspection team how 72 hours free transit is counted.
