About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I make use of this 72 hours visa free facilities by popping across into China while I am in HK?

Hi,
I am booked to travel from UK to Australia in November, stopping over in Hong Kong for several days.

If you have a flight Hong Kong - Mainland - Australia (or another 3rd country) it is ok, but you can´t enter Mainland from Hong Kong and go back to Hong Kong on the 72h twov.

As a UK passport holder, you can get a 5 day Shenzhen VOA at the border.
