I am staying in Guangzhou for 3 nights and have no idea in which area to book a hotel.

Would like to be in the center of everything - shops, restaurants and culture.

Where should I look for a place to stay?

You are suggested to live around Haizhu Square, where you can have easy access to large shopping malls, economical hotels, western restaurants as well as subway lines, public buses and airport shuttle buses. It is a great choice to be made, just try it.
