Passport validity for 24 hours free transit

My transit flight at Beijing airport to Hong Kong is less than 24 hours. Can I qualify for the free transit if I got only 4 months left on my passport? Do I need to have minimum 6 months ? Thanks.

Kai, you don't need to have at least six months of validity on your passport. It's not required.
