Trip to Emeishan

We'd to visit Emeishan on Aug11,15, pls. Advice us how to get there by bus or train from Chengdu?
Transportation ticket and entrance ticket $ ? The first bus/ train departure and return from Emeishan

Both train and bus are available.
If you take the bullet train, the travel time is about 80 mins, and the fare is CNY62 – 65 for the second class seat and CNY74 – 78 for the first class seat. The train schedule is dense, and the first bullet train departs at 07:42, and the last train returns at 21:43. Upon arrival, you can take the tourist bus or take a taxi to the mountain scenic area.

In Xinnanmen Bus Station, there are also a lot of buses going to Emeishan Mountain area, and the bus fare is CNY42-48. The travel time is about 2 hours. The first bus leaves at 06:30 around, and the last returning bus leaves at 18:00.

The scenic area entrance fee is CNY185 (16th, Jan. – 14th Dec.) and CNY110 (15th Dec. – Next 15th Jan.).
