Flying into Hong Kong from nyc via Beijing staying 5 days would like to visit Guangzhou for a day

Hi, Barbara! If your stay in Beijing does not exceed 72 hours, you don't need the transit permit. However, you need to get a single entry permit in advance if you plan to visit Guangzhou.
