Well, there is only one train that operates between these two places. It departs at 12:31 from South Railway Station. The duration is about 9 hours. First class seat costs CNY167 and second class seat costs CNY140.
1. From Pudong Airport, you can take direct long-distance bus and go to Nantong. The schedules are 9:50, 12:00, 16:50 and 19:40 with the duration of around 3 hours.
2. From Hongqiao Airport, you can take subway line 10 to Hongqiao Road Station. Then transfer to line 3 to Main Railway Station, Exit 4. After arriving, walk northwest around 570 yards to arrive at General Bus Station. There are many long-distance buses that can take you to the destination.
The schedules are from 06:00 to 21:10 with the interval of around 40 mins. The ticket fare is CNY 65 per person.
3. It's not easy for you to get a taxi because of the long-distance. So you are suggested to hire a private car directly. The fare is generally CNY 200 to 300 for the single trip.
