About:Visa Policy of China

Do I require visa for China? Also I am holding HongKong Permanent Identity,

I am Thai Citizen and will go to HongKong and stay there for a while and will visit Shenzhen for a day trip and come back to HongKong without stay there.

Yes, you need the entry permit. You can either apply for one in advance at Hong Kong or apply for a VOA upon arrival in Shenzhen.
