Visa from a third country

Am on a student type that expires at the end of this month, I have completed the registration of my trade company in China about a month ago.

I have the business license and all other certificates in my name but as it stands I don't have enough time to process all other documents for me to exit China for the Z type.

Since am the owner of the company, can I get an invitation letter from the government in the city I registered the company to apply for a short 3 months one into PRC from Philippines, though am not from the Philippines so that I can have adequate time to process all other documents to get the Z type? My current one expires at the end of the month.

Nana, it's possible to apply for a three-month M type from a third country, but not likely in the Philippines. You should do it in another country.

Can you suggest any countries apart from the Philippines. Am African, hence not allowed to use Macao or Hong Kong

Nana, where are you from? I heard that people from certain countries like UK, US and other developed countries could apply in HK. If you are not from one of the above countries, then you need get back to your country to apply from Chinese embassy there.
