documents needed for applying for tourist visa

Hi, i want to visit china for tourism in Nov. 15, what paper should i give along with the application? do you need a hotel reservation and tickets? because i'll go through train from Hong Kong.Moneera , Kuwait

Moneera, except the application form, you need to provide your passport, a copy of the passport's photo page, and transportation tickets and hotel reservations. If you plan to go through Hong Kong, you need to provide the ticket to Hong Kong and state your situation on the application form.
