Hi,We plan to travel to Chengdu in January to see the landscape of Szechuan and it's famous highlights.  Will snow/ice cause problems for tour buses going into the rural areas?Thanks,Dawn

If you are going to rural areas, there is such possibility. In January, if it snows, the way may be blocked, especially for the rural areas. Even if it is not blocked, it will be dangerous to have a bus ride. Therefore, you need keep an eye for the weather forecast before leave in case of traveling with bad weather.
