beijing subway -- getting to conference location

Question

I'm following the way below  to reach jinsong from airport.Take subway line 2 from Dongzhimen to Chaoyangmen, then take subway line 6 from Chaoyangmen to Hujialou, and then take subway line 10 from Hujialou to Jinsong.How long will it take for the entire travel If I take the first train from airport? Is it possible to travel at this time with luggage? How long does the transfers take -- Do I have to buy a separate ticket for each line?

From the capital airport, you should take the Airport Express Train to Dongzhimen first in half an hour (25RMB). Then follow the way you quotoed above. It takes around 25min and the fare is 4RMB. For all metro transfers (line 2, 6 and 10), you can buy a ticket, no separate tickets are needed. It is fine to travel with your luggage by metro. But if they are a lot and too hearvy, it is best to take a taxi to Jinsong directly from Dongzhimen.
