About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Singapore->Beijing->NY. Do I need a visa or am I ok with the 72h transit?

German citizen currently in Singapore for a business trip. I am about to book a flight from Singapore (where I am now) to Beijing (48h stay) and Beijing to NY (where I live). Also, does it have to be one airline all the way? Thank you !!

Bobby, it's ok. You can either book a connecting air ticket or two separate tickets. However, you have to make sure that your flights won't stop by any other Chinese cities.
