About:China Museum of Huaiyang Cuisine

Can I also get my family to get a J visa?

My family and I are planning to live in China for 12 months. I should be able to get a J type from a Chinese university, but can my wife and daughter (2 years old) also get a J type or do they need different one?

What are some of the benefits of J type compared to X1?

KJ, your wife and daughter can't apply for J type. Since they are Americans, they can try to apply 10 years multiple L types, which allow them to stay 60 days at most per time.
