Jacob, there is no age limit if you just want to visit China. However, if you want to work there, the minimum age requirement is 18. So you fulfill this requirement. However, as you don't have bachelor degree, I'm afraid you can't get the work permit, which is a must for foreigner seeking to work in China.

Hey Jacob,
I'm an American currently living in Xiamen teaching English in a private school with an F type and a TEFL Certificate. Most private schools in China will allow an F type and a TEFL Certificate to work and teach English . It just depends on the company. You just can't teach in a public school without a Master's Degree. You can pay search around places in China for a job teaching and and apply for a 40hr coarse to get your TEFL Certificate.

Jason, you have to understand that it's illegal to work with F type. Once you were caught, you will face severe punlishment. It will cause serious problems in your future application for Chinese entry permits. Those private schools are incapable of getting Z type for their teachers because they are disaqulified for recruiting foreigners legally.
