About:Visa Policy of China

am i allowed to changed my visa X to L before my X type got expired? how?

i've got a student type for two years and got to expired in this 30 august, because i've graduated already. i would like to stay more in China.

Yes, before the X type expires, you can go to the local eixt and entry administration to apply for an L type. The officer may give another one-month stay. You need to provide your passport, photo, application form, and travel plan.

how many times can i apply for the L Type? how about if i go to hongkong first? i would like to rent an apartment in china.

Dewi, you can change the X type into L type only once. After you return from Hong Kong, you'll need another entry permit.
