About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

If arriving via ship in Shanghai do I need a visa if I would like to stay 2-3 days?

What would the cost be? How is this attainable?
If not staying in Shanghai and simply going from the port to the airport is anything required?

Darlene, if you would like to stay 2-3 three days, then you need to get a normal entry permit from the CVASC office in your country before travelling. The cost is around CAD 145.

If you stay in Shanghai for less than 24 hours, the entry permit is not required.
