what documents do l need to apply for a Chinese tourist visa?

And if l have chinese friend could that help in any way? I have a temporary Jordanian passport.

Hey, if you have a Chinese friend, then you can ask him to send you an invitation letter and a copy of his Chinese ID card. Then you can apply for a L type.

Thanks!! The invitation letter from an individual what should contain?? and can I ask for hong kong if I need a visa or not on my temporary Jordanian passport ??

The letter should contain your personal information, the inviter's personal information, as well as details about the planned visit, such as places to be visited, who will sponsor the trip, length of stay, etc.

If your Jordanian passport is still valid for one month at least by the expected time you leave Hong Kong, then you can enter without the entry permit.
