Best time to visit Forbidden City and cost of guide and how much for all entries.

I wish to spend a whole day exploring this wonderful place in September 2015 and would like to know the cost per hour of an English speaking guide. I have a choice of Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday, which would be best? Thank you

First of all, you can find tour-guide at the Meridian Gate and the Gate of Divine Prowess in English.
The detailed charge standard is the following.
For groups no more than 5 people:
Central axis: 1 hour sightseeing, CNY 200
Central axis and west route: 1.5 hours sightseeing, CNY 300
Central axis, west route, and Treasure Gallery: 2.5 hours sightseeing, CNY 400
Note: An extra CNY 20 per person will be charged for groups of more than 5 people.

You are suggested to avoid crowded people on weekends. So Tuesday is a good time to visit. Have fun!
