do many people celebrate christian christmas in Changchun and are there some hotels that do cater?

ReplyOh yes. It is one of the favorite festivals among Chinese young people in the city. On Xmas Eve, many places are decorated with Xmas Trees and the young people hang out very late.
I know the Shangri-la Hotel and Sheraton Hotel would be greatly decorated then and the Xmas dinner are served. Go there and you may have much fun.00Reply
