About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 hour visa, passport validity?

Hi,
I hold a NZ passport and will be transitioning in Beijing for 2 days during October 2015, taking advantage of the 72 hour free transit option. However my passport expires March 2016, will this be a problem as it is less than 6 months?
Thanks

I don't think it's a problem because China does not require a six-month validity of passport for inbound foreingers, but if you still worry about it, you can double check this with the embassy or immigration office.
