About:Forbidden City

Passport required for entry to Forbidden City

I have been advised by the tour guide that I have to provide the passport number, nationality and full name to gain access to the palace, is that correct? Thank you.

Yes, you are right. To enter the palace, you have to show your passport. Please prepare that.
