About:China Visa Application in USA

Daughter already in Japan needs Visa to Go to China

My Aunt and I will be traveling from US to Japan to pick up my daughter who is a student in Japan and we will make a 3 day stop in China. She has your Passport but I do have a color copy of passport and power of attorney for her will that work for the application? Thank

Anita, do you mean she has a Japanese passport? If so, she doesn't need the entry permit for China.

Also we are only staying 3 nights is there a need for a Visa?

Well, if you take flights from Japan to China and then head for a third destination, then you don't need the entry permit. Otherwise, you need to apply for a tourist L type. You can apply for your daughter.
