About:China Customs Declaration

I'm traveling to China to meet my wife to be family

She has a extended family and it is custom to bring gifts so I have 6 watches Fossil and some crystal jewery about $1600 to $2000 in value they will be in there original boxes of course as there gifts do I need to carry the recipts and declare them will I be paying a tax as well Thank You

Steve, six watches obviously exceed the limit for personal use. So you should take the receipt, declare them at the customs and pay the duty.
