About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need visa coming of cruise ship staying one night in shanghia then on to Heathrow next day?

Valerie, you are qualified for 24 hours free transit if your total transit time is less than 24 hours. In this way, you needn't apply any type in advance.
