About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Can I visit The Great Wall on a layover on less than 24 hours?

I will travel from Thailand via Beijing to Denmark and as I arrive at 7 am and travel onwards at 2 am, I would like to go to Beijing City and The Great Wall. Is this allowed on a 24 hour visa or do I need the 72 hour one?

Maroamme, both free transit policies are available to you. You can use the 24 hour direct transit policy and apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport so as to go out and see the Great Wall.
