About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

do I need a visa to leave the airport? Or may I stay in China for 72h?

Hi, I'm Jose from Venezuela. I'll be in China about 24h then going to HK.

Jose, Venezuela isn't one of the 51 countries so that you can't make use of 72 hours free transit. However, you are eligible for 24 hours free transit if your transit is less than 24 hours.

Jose, I personally think you should count from the scheduled arrival time on your air ticket, to play it safe.
