About:China Tourist Visa

Can I apply for my Chinese visa in HK if I have an HKID card but I'm not a permanent resident?

I have a Hong Kong ID card but I'm not a permanent resident. I'm on a working holiday entry permit. Can I still apply at the embassy or do I have to go to an agency?

Anninka, I think you can apply on your own as long as you have the ID card. If they refuse your application, then you might find an agency to deal with your application.
