About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Manila to Shanghai(pudong) then to Los Angeles

Hi, US citizen here, traveling from Manila ( cebu pacific air) going to Shanghai,then for 72 hour visa free, then to Los Angeles flying via Asiana air with 3 1/2 hour stop over/ change plane at ICN Seoul, South Korea to Los Angeles, Is the 72 hour visa allowed? Thanks
