Addressing a person

I understood you until the last paragraph. How do you pronounce "Nv3 Shi4"? What do the numbers mean?

Kip, the numbers represent four tones, even or level (平 píng), rising (上 shǎng), departing (or going; 去 qù), and entering or checked (入 rù).
