About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Foreign nationals and Chinese Z visas at the Chinese embassy in Tokyo.

I am a UK national; currently resident in Japan and working in Tokyo.
I have a Chinese work permit and letter of invitation from my new employer in Beijing.
I have heard that the rules have changed recently, and Z types are only available in your home country.
Can I get a Chinese Z type at the Chinese embassy in Tokyo?

Bill, since you have the work permit and residence permit of Japan, I think you can apply for the Z type from Tokyo. There should be no problem.
