Taking public buses is more convenient than taking taxies. Besides, some bus routes directly take tourists to the popular scenic areas.
In addition, some casinos offer free shuttle bus, which run to/from transport hub like ferry pier and airport.
As for local foods, most are Portuguese Style. Some restaurants are highly recommended, like PLATÃO, Alorcha and SOLMAR. You can go and see.
