Recommended area to stay in Luoyang

I am visiting Luoyang via high speed train from Xi'an for 3 days to cover the Longmen Grottoes, Luoyang Museum, White Horse Temple, Shaolin Temple and Songshan. After that, will be returning to Xi'an via high speed train to catch my flight. What would be the recommended area to stay?
