About:Visa Policy of China

my husband is doing p.h.d in china. He wants to call me there on spouse s1 visa.

I am pakistani. My pasport was made at the time when i was unmarried. so my marital status in data is unmarried and my surname is of my father. Is it mandatory to change name and status on pasport or just marriage certificate can work? plz reply

It isn't mandatory to change your name. However, you have to make sure that all names on your documents should be the same. If not, you need to provide documents to prove that different names refer to the same person.
