About:China Transit Visa

U.S. Citizens in Beijing for 23 hr Layover

I booked a flight to Bangkok with a long layover in Beijing in hopes of taking in just a bit of Chinese culture. As our layover is less than 24 hours will we need to fill out any forms or apply for visas in advance? Thank you.

Anahi, you don't need to apply for entry permit in advance as you are eligible for the 24-hour free transit policy. You may need to fill out the arrival/departure card.
